Bibliography

At present there is no specific bibliography for this community but we intend to include one as soon as possible. As you can appreciate there are over 400 historic parishes in Kent and this is an enormous task.

There are several histories of the county that are worth consulting. Some may have specific information about this community as well as information about the immediate area and the county. You can also search the other parts of this website for your community.

Kent Archaeological Society History Atlas to be published late 2004

West Kent and the Weald (1969) and North and East Kent (1969). Both books were written by John Newman. Part of the famous Pevsner series. Originally published by Penguin they are now published by Yale. These books cover all the parishes churches in Kent and will provide a short but very detailed and accurate description of the architecture of the community.
